thereuare
If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the SEE DEAL button next to this offer (the one with the price in it), then on the ensuing page click the 'See all' link under the amenities, do you see more than what you've posted above? The 3* hotel i'm seeing in this zone for $48/nite when searching for your dates has this full list of amenities: Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Pool Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Kitchenette Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in ShowerIs this what you're seeing OR are you still seeing the shorter list of amenities you posted above? If you're only seeing your original list of amenities, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for something other than the default 2adults/0children?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Colobill1
The free parking and free breakfast would rule out the Hilton. Parking is $14 a night self-park, and breakfast is not free to normal (non-elite) folks. Link to comment
Triska
We frequently stay in Vancouver and my guess is one of the following four hotels. The amenities of all four are almost identical with a few occassional exceptions. Phoenix Inn and Holiday Inn Express have free breakfast and an indoor pool, which sometimes shows up as indoor pool, but I have seen it as just pool. Staybridge Suites and Residence Inn also have free breakfast and a pool (seasonal but the hot tubs remain open). Sometimes the kitchenette or suite amenity would will show up for these two. I've stayed all all but the Holiday Inn Express and all four are very nice places to stay. All but the Phoenix Inn are near the mall.I have never seen the Hilton or Red Lion at the Quay in the Vancouver area of HOTWIRE. I believe they would be in the Portland Meadows/ Jantzen Beach/ SW Vancouver area. I have won both on Priceline for the Vancouver area though. Link to comment
