Priceline Hotel: 4* New York City (Midtown West) Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers

I followed one of the strategies listed on a previous post (by Matt R) and was able to get the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers for $120 night for one night!!

As suggested, I started with $110 for 4*, bid in $5 increments in this order Central Park South, Theater District, Midtown West.

Room Subtotal: $120.00

Taxes & Fees: $32.27

Total cost: $152.27

Also of note, this is a Starwood hotel with an SPG guest rewards program. Last time I booked a Sheraton hotel through Priceline, I was given an upgrade when I checked in just for being a part of their guest rewards program! Hope this will be the case again although even without it, this is a fantastic deal.

UPDATE: I was upgraded to a "parlor suite" upon check in at the hotel last Monday after asking if they had any rooms with a view. The corner room was on the 39th Floor with windows on two sides of the room, one facing Times Square area and the other facing the Hudson River. It never hurts to ask for what you want :)
