The total price turned out to be the same (almost exactly) as Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz show for that hotel for the same room type and dates. However they have a far better cancellation policy. Some hotwire purchases are treats. This one was more of a trick.

and

Best Western Salinas Monterey Hotel at 175 KERN STREET

The confirmation just Best Western - Salinas, but the address given was 175 KERN STREET.

The name on the hotel Best Western Salinas Monterey Hotel (may want to update that in hotel list). I was initially disappointed that I ended up at a Best Western and that I didn't get a discount with Hotwire. However, the place turned out to be a reasonable value. I enjoyed the stay.
