PIE St. Petersburg Clearwater Fullsize Avis

Have been watching the Hotwire rental car rates for PIE airport in St Pete for few months, and bidding occasionally at what I was willing to spend at that early time; always rejected. I could only accept a full size or premium, so didn't have much bid power. I am not seeing as many good rates through Priceline country-wide lately. And often I'm seeing the rates go up as the date approaches rather than the opposite.

Finally saw Hotwire went down to $24.95 a day for full size car 'secret'(from $30 or higher). Had $2.10 per day of bonus money for 10 day rental.

Rental dates 10 days, 10/26/12 through 11/5/12.

Bid Priceline NOP $20 for Full size (+2.10 bonus) = 22.10 per day actual price.

Accepted.

$20/day * 10 days = $200 + 91.47 = $291.47
