I used the Better Bidding link and started a bid with $40 in Medford, OR for a 3* which was rejected. Immediately rebid adding 2.5* and raised price to $42. Offer was accepted at the Red Lion Hotel Medford. Yeah!

Interesting...Priceline is offering express hotel deals at up to 50% off in July. When I searched their offer, I saw a 2.5* for this area for $53/nt. I'm thinking it was the same one I got for $11 less.
