PerfectPear Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 I have been trying for several days to get a room in Springfield. Started at $45 and went up to $60 with no success for a 3*. Since we are just two days away from needing a room, today I started bidding at $45 for a 3* in both locations Eugene & Springfield. Priceline came back with a counter offer of $58 + tax ($14.03). I accepted and won this offer at the Valley River Inn. Judging by the Yelp reviews, the place is in pretty bad shape and undergoing renovations. The normals rooms from their website begin at $150+/night with the 10% summer discount so I probably did okay at half the price. Next time though, I'll just stick with my original desire for only Springfield (right off I-5). Still love BetterBidding!
