I began with your PRICELINE link.

For the past several days I had bid for the Airport zone using rebid zones.

I had bid $44, $46, and $48 without success.

Today I used rebid zones and bid as follows: $45, $47, $49, $50. My $50 bid was accepted. (At the $45 bid, Priceline guaranteed me a hotel if I raised my bid to $58, so I had an idea of what my maximum bid would be.)

I had previously gotten this hotel for $46 and noticed that someone else had gotten it for $48 (both for one-night stays), so I may have been able to get it for a lower price if I had waited a little longer. However, I am very pleased with this deal, especially since this was the precise hotel I was looking for (free parking and complimentary breakfast!).
