Priceline Hotel: 4* Toronto (Downtown North) Marriott Toronto Bloor Yorkville

Have to be in Toronto, Canada for a week in July and I am trying to figure out if it's more worth it to book a package through hotwire, or to purchase individually. For two people, the package starts at about $1000 per person. Airfare is about $700 a person.

What are the going wins for Toronto for a 4 star hotel? I will need to stay there July 22 to July 28. Sorry, I'm a noob and this is my very first post and first time checking out the forum also. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

You can use our Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins to see if any wins have yet been reported to the board for these specific dates and our Priceline Maps to see historical rates for this time of year and days of the week. As well, you can search HOTWIRE and uses prices there as a 'safety net' in determining prices should your bids not be accepted.

Let us know if/how you'd like to proceed or how we can be of further help.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! (please click each of these links before replying)

The trip worked out quite well! I used PRICELINE's bidding link and won the Marriott Niagara Falls for $80 for a stay on 7/22. I didn't bid until 5 days before too :)

I used some bonus cash for 7/26-7/29 that I had and ended up getting the Marriott Bloor Yowkville for $90 ($100 with +$10 bonus cash). Got that on one try, but had gotten this win about a month prior.

I waited until last minute to try and get a hotel in Downtown South for 7/23-26. For some reason rates were way higher than usual on 7/23. I bid up to $110 and did not get anything. As a last resort, I ended up doing an airbnb for an entire home/place for 7/23-7/26. All in all, it worked out quite nice!
