Priceline Hotel: Help Needed - Portland (South Portland - Scarborough), 5/25 - 5/28

I have been bidding for 3* and up in South Portland - Scarborough for 5/25 - 5/28, Memorial Day weekend. My prices from $50 - $70/night (avg. suggested price by P is $149/night) have all been rejected thus far since I started to bid on Saturday. I'm only looking for a hotel 3*s and up in South Portland.... so I guess I'll just have to keep trying to increase the price.

I'm interested in more-or-less the same thing including dates so this will be interesting...can't wait to see what happens. I'm too nervous to bid just yet.

Ok I clicked on the PRICELINE link and re-bid with the same dates, 3*, $75 and it was rejected.

With MAPS and HOTELS.com i'm seeing some 3* properties in this are for ~$130... but i think you're likely looking at ~$90-$110 to be successful thru the opaque providers for this trip.
