I started each session by using your PRICELINE link.

I first started trying to get a room for these days about a month ago. I had seen where people had gotten the 3 star Element for $58-60, so that was my goal. However, since there is only one rebid zone for 3 star hotels in Miami, I could do only two bids a day. I went as high as $65 (yesterday), but the bids were rejected. I had noticed about a week ago that Priceline said that the median price for a 3 star was $139, a 3.5 star was $119, and a 4 star was $129. Because of this anomaly, I started bidding on 3.5 and 4 star hotels in the $65-70 range. I bid as high as $75 on a 4 star, $70 on a 3.5 star, and $65 on a 3 star over several days. Today, I again bid up to $75 for a 4 star and was rejected. I then bid $70 on a 3.5 star and was rejected. I increased my bid to $75 and was accepted. I would have liked to have gotten the Element for $65, but I am quite happy with the Crowne Plaza at $75. The best rate posted on the hotel's website (for a non-refundable reservation) is $109 for the nights I will be there.

Thanks again for providing such a great service.
