Thought I might do better, but I can't really complain. Here is my bidding history:

(1) River North - 3.5* @ $60

(2) + Grant Park - 3.5* @ $67

(3) + Franklin Park - 3.5* @ $72

(4) + Midway North - 3.5* @ $75

(5) + Hyde Park - 3.5* @ $80

(6) + Lincoln Park - 3.5* @ $82

(7) + Skokie - 3.5* @ $86 (winning bid)

Now we just have to find cheap parking!! ($45 self park @ hotel - yikes!)

Congrats on your success. :)

Once the Spring season starts, prices do start to ramp up in the city - very nice deal for this well-located hotel. There are a number of lots around this area, but the city lot at Navy Pier is also an option (which I believe is about $22-25 a night + tax.)

Not a bad hotel at all. I stayed here a few months ago. Location was great in my opinion, and everything was a short walk away. Make sure you get the hot cookie when you check in, they're amazing.
