I bid $36 for 2 1/2 last Thursday and was rejected, tried $37.00 yesterday (7/11) and was accepted.

This is the former New Orleans Airport Plaza hotel, which was on the list. They did a pretty nice rehab over about eight months, but nothing can change the fact that it's still in Kenner!

Thanks for the the clarification on the change in ownership... i suppose the Radisson brand (and refubishments?) also gave it an extra 1/2 star, as the Airport Plaza was previously rated 2.5*.

Property was won on a 2.5* bid back in April, right after they (mostly) finished rehab. Sorry we didn't post at that time.

This bid was an upgrade, see initial post. Have had Priceline 3*s of lower quality than this hotel; also had some Priceline 3*s that equal or exceed most PL 4*s. Funny how we never complain about the latter!
