I need a room in Marietta 7/9/05 and usually take 3.5* and 4* properties on HW. Any advice on opening bids for Marietta via PL and potential re-bids would be greatly appreciated. As of today, HW is listing a 3.5* which I believe is the Sheraton Suites Galleria for $50. Link to comment
thereuare Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 You'll need to know how to figure out your re-bid zones on your own as they should be checked before each round of bidding to ensure that they have remained the same. We will certainly help walk you thru the process and explain anything that you don't understand, but you should start by reading PRICEILNE RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED.To get you on your way, you have two re-bid zones available at the 3* level... feel free to ask questions regarding re-bidding and/or confirm your re-bid zones (strongly encouraged) with the board before bidding.Once you are ready this is the strategy i would suggest (assuming you are looking for a 3* Priceline property and trying to beat your above $50 rate)...Select 3* Marietta...Bid $33, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $38, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* Marietta and re-bid zone2...Bid $40, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $43.
