AaronJB Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The Best Western Premier Ivy Inn has been seen with this amenity set previously, so that would be my guess.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
kvincelette Posted February 10, 2012 Author Report Posted February 10, 2012 Yeah, after doing more research I came to that conclusion. I think I'll start researching PRICELINE...by using the link.

kvincelette Posted February 10, 2012 Author Report Posted February 10, 2012 Bidding Assistance for Napa-Sonoma (Napa) I’d like to get help bidding on a room through PRICELINE now. I researched and posted about a HOTWIRE find yesterday but really don’t want to stay at the Best Western Premier Ivy. We are traveling on February 24-26 and would like to stay in Napa. We would like to get a 3.5 or 4 star hotel. Through the Better Bidding PRICELINE search I found the River Terrace Inn for $135. Any assistance on getting this hotel or where to start would be greatly appreciated. I think this is the only 3.5 star right now in Napa?Thank you!
thereuare Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Please keep all posts for this stay in this thread, if you ultimately use PRICELINE we will move this thread to that section of the board once a hotel is won (or it will move itself if you click the "EDIT TO REPORT WIN" button and select 'Priceline' as the service used when filling out the form)You can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. kvincelette Posted February 11, 2012 Author Report Posted February 11, 2012 We really don't want to pay more than $100 a night. Not sure if that's feasible or not. Thank you.
thereuare Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 At the 3.5* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 3.5* Napa...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $100Any questions feel free to ask. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. kvincelette Posted September 7, 2012 Author Report Posted September 7, 2012 Before we went to Priceline a room a deal came up for 2 nights at the Meritage resort with free breakfast and a $50 credit for the spa: all for the price of $199. We ended up buying that as I didn't want to risk getting the Best Western Ivy in Napa.
