Priceline Hotel: Marco Island Or Sanibel/Captiva

I am looking for a 4* or Resort on Marco or Sanibel/Capitva.

When I type in "resort" on Marco, I only come up with 2 : Marriott or Hilton and I have stayed at both before. The list price is about 419 for Hilton and 499 for Marriott. Am I safe bidding on these at about 50% off. Would other resorts come up?

Any advice for Sanibel/Captiva.

It is for 3 people: 2 adults and 17 year old son.

Yesterday I could have had the Hilton for 199 on Hotels.com
