LindaS
I am trying to get to Hyatt Deerfield for the weekend of 11/18- 11/21. I am confused because the price on Priceline is 189 but I have read on this list that people are getting it for about 40 or 50 dollars. Can you advise? Thanks L Link to comment
AaronJB
Good morning. :)The Hyatt Deerfield on PRICELINE is in the Deerfield zone, while the Renaissance is in the North Shore zone. Additionally, both hotels are not alone in their star rating/zone. For example, the Hyatt was last reported at the 3.5* level in the Deerfield zone, and there are two other "known" hotels at that star rating in that zone that you could possibly get. People are getting both hotels on PRICELINE via the name your own price "bidding" side of the service. HOTWIRE is also an option, although there's no guarantee that either hotel will be showing for your dates - I believe the Renaissance may also show with similar details on HOTWIRE to the Westin North Shore.Do you need to stay at the Renaissance/Hyatt, or are other hotels nearby acceptable? Do you need to stay within a certain area?Rates can vary quite a bit from day-to-day, but substantial discounts are not unusual in this area. I will say that $40-50 may not be possible for these dates, which do seem somewhat busier/more expensive on HOTWIRE.Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. LindaS
I ended up not booking on hotwire or priceline and directly with the hotel for $98 per night Link to comment
