slickvik69 Posted January 18, 2012 Author Report Posted January 18, 2012 I'm going to try 3* Central Corpus Christi also. So far rejected at $60. I don't think I will go higher than $85 which is $105 after tax.
thereuare Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 I don't recall if either/both are fully refundable or not, but you may want to look at booking the Omni or the Radisson as a back-up (assuming at least one of them is fully refundable) as it will give you some 'breathing room' as you bid and less pressure to have to get something right away. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.Good luck and keep us updated on your progress. slickvik69 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Posted January 19, 2012 Ended up winning 3* Corpus Christi Central for $65, Hilton Garden Inn. I don't believe this is on your list. After tax it is $82.53. The cheapest price on the website is $91 before tax and the tax on Hilton website is 15% so my guess is the price would've been $104.65, thus giving us a savings of $22.09, 26.08% overall.
slickvik69 Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Posted January 19, 2012 Won this hotel with $65, $82.53 after tax. Regular price on the website was $91, with tax $104.65, so 26.08% savings. Also this hotel or zone are not on the list on this site, so this should help. Thanks!
