Hotwire Hotel: 4* San Diego (Gaslamp Quarter North - Horton Plaza) W San Diego

Amenities were: Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access

Ended up getting it for $141/night plus taxes/fees for 2 nights = $329.00

Thought for sure it would have been the Westin Gaslamp Quarter but ended up with the W San Diego. A bit disappointing because we really didn't get as good of a deal as I expected. Could have got the same hotel for $25 more per night directly through Kayak ($170/night plus taxes $21 = $191 x 2 nights = $382.00). Guess I was expecting to save a little more.

Usually the W Hotel San Diego is listed with these extra amenities (Golf, Tennis, Spa), but Hotwire didn't include these in the features. Will report back with a trip update on how it went.

While not the hotel you were expecting, and not as deep of a discount as you would have liked, hope you can make this property work for your needs and find it to be a good value for the price paid.
