FLL Car Rental ?

Using Hotwire I am finding car rental rates are higher for dates 3 months in advance than for dates 3 weeks in advance. If I wait to within a month of the dates I need the car will I likely see lower rates? Using a traditional website to book car rentals or hotels the rates are generally cheaper the further in advance you book. If Hotwire indeed does deal with surplus inventory won't I likely get better rates by waiting??? March is my target month in comparison to end of January... Thanks.

Tough to say as it's difficult to know what's going on for particular dates that you are looking at. What's the best price you can find on the "retail" side compared to Hotwire? PL is always a good choice for bidding at the rate you want to get, and whether to bid earlier or later depends on inventory, but I always start early if my dates are confirmed. If your dates are fixed, PL is a good option to try at the rate you're targeting, and keep an eye on Hotwire as I have seen inventory change often day-to-day and week-to-week. Good luck!
