thereuare Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I had just posted elsehwhere (for another user) that in NYC there is often only a small difference in price between a 3* and a 4* hotel, and i think you might be able to get a 4* relatively inexpensively for your dates. We'll suggest a strategy to try... but is MTW the only zone you're willing to accept? (most are usually fine with MTE, MTW, and UM/CPS, see PRICELINE ZONES NYC for more info)Let us know and we'll move forward with a strategy. gschick Posted June 27, 2005 Author Report Posted June 27, 2005 Would like to get a 3 star hotel for $125.00 in midtown west or east
dahammer Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 is that your max bid? What other zones would you consider? The price you would like to pay and the price that the hotel is willing to accept for your dates of travel might not be relevant.
thereuare Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Just making sure that you saw my advice above regarding the cost of 3* and 4* hotels, but if you choose to disregard it than that is your perogative. You have one re-bid zone at the 3* level, if you're not sure which zone is your re-bid zone then read RE-BIDDING EXPLAINED and ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zone with the board before proceeding.Select 3* MTW...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* MTW...Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $115, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 3* MTE and MTW...Bid $120, if rejected add re-bid zone and...Bid $125.
