Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* San Francsico (USW) CLIFT

Amenities as listed, Rest, Fitness, Business Center.

Stayed here in the past at $99. There is an excellent French restaurant across the street...the Grand Cafe. Hotel had no exterior signage last time, so if you are driving, look for the valet. (Actually there is a tiny sign up high that you won't notice until you tell them that there is no sign.)

BTW. I booked this on Hotwire because Priceline's zones in SF put you at risk of being in a run down area, even in USW (eg the Hilton or the Nikko). SF isn't really a dangerous town, but it is a magnet for the homeless and panhandlers of every ilk.

I just checked Hotwire's vacation package for the OP's dates, and the Clift is still listed as 4.5 stars.

Thanks for looking. I had seen the same thing so we'll leave it in our Hotel Lists 'as is' and edit the title to 4.5* with a "?"... but hopefully the OP will return and confirm.
