cbob8 Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Used BetterBidding's PRICELINE link to initiate bids. This was my first bid ($42 for 3.5* in STL Aiport region) as this was the best I've seen based on my past experience and other postings. 3.5* bids in this region typically yield nice properties for pretty low prices.
AaronJB Posted December 29, 2011 Report Posted December 29, 2011 Congrats on your success. :)Wonderful deal for this STL property, and glad you are pleased with the result.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
cbob8 Posted January 2, 2012 Author Report Posted January 2, 2012 Just a follow up after this trip.... The Renaissance St. Louis Airport is currently being renovated-- at least the reception/restaurant/gift-shop area. As a result, they've kind of set up some temporary things like a front desk, and restaurant, which are servicable, but really not-so-great. My guess is that they will not be finished with the renovation until the end of January. I'm also guessing that a lot of people who bid 3.5* in the STL airport region will get this property during the renovation, because they might be having trouble getting business. So this is just a head's up.
AaronJB Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Thank you for the follow-up review and note regarding renovations.
