rangermcfadden
Very pleased on the price. Wasn't sure whether to target a 4* or go with 3* and save a bit of cash but I like the 3* hotels in this zone so I decided to save the cash. Used the PRICELINE link on this site, as usual.I know it will be chilly but it's chilly here too!For two people this is actually half the cost of staying in a youth hostel!Bonus Cash: Per Room, Per Night $9.00Offer Price: avg. per room, per night $37.00 (so a $46 offer)Rooms: 1Nights: 4Room Subtotal: $148.00Taxes & Fees: $37.16Total Charged to Card: $185.16Here's my bidding history:For Chicago - Millennium Park - Loop:4*44464748495051 Try again at $6152 Try again at $6153 Try again at $61For Chicago - North Michigan Ave - River North4*404142434445464748 - said I had a "small chance" (This wasn't displayed yesterday but I went to bed and that message came up.)495051 Try again at $6252 Try again at $6253 Try again at $623.5* 404142434445464748 Try again at $5949 Try again at $593*40414243444546 Accepted Link to comment
AaronJB
Congrats on your success. :)This is a superb deal for this Four Points property; while not a 4*, this is a 3* in a TERRIFIC location, and if you're not going to be in the room a lot, the location couldn't be better. While cold, temps haven't been terrible as Chicago in December goes, and hopefully that will continue. There's a Trader Joe's a few doors West of the hotel on 44 E Ontario, and that's a great place for cheap snacks/drinks to bring back to the hotel (or snacks to carry around during the day.)Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay. rangermcfadden
Good info! I'm liking the free internet so that will make up for it. I've stayed in a Four Points in Queens, NY before and liked the room so there should be no worries. I think Trader Joe's will get a visit as we don't have them here.Looking forward to this winter's Four Points craft beer too. Thanks for running the board (both you and thereyouare). It's helped me immensely over the years! I like the new layout and programming stuff too (e.g. the template for this post, you don't have to calculate two weeks on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins, etc.) Link to comment
