Sheraton is getting pretty chintzy with their Hotwire discount...prepaid rooms on Sheraton's own site were $102.33 + 15.35 tax (15%) would have equaled $353.04. Less than 50 bucks savings for 3 nights.

Hotwire showed "Recommended in 95 % of Hotwire customer reviews", which seemed strange given low ratings on Tripadvisor. Just checked in and my first impression is somewhere in between...looks clean and comfortable, nicely decorated, but a bit shabby and smelly (cooking odors on one floor, heavy scent on another). Bell desk didn't offer to help with my bags as I walked by with two of them, but a friendly cleaning guy did. Front desk cheerfully changed from 2 doubles to a king when I requested after seeing the 1st room (either exceptionally nice service from them if they didn't hear me request the king in the first place, or exceptionally poor service if they heard it and purposely ignored it when 1 was available).

Free wireless internet. Impossible to find in the dark unless you know to turn into Staybridge Suites' driveway. Noisy heat/AC. Windows might open but didn't dare try, looked like an emergency open system that might have tossed the whole window to the ground.

Sorry to see the savings aren't as much as you would have liked, but discounts are often not as deep in areas such as this where there are fewer hotels and therefore less competition (vs. a large city where there are dozens of hotels within a small radius). Glad to see you received the hotel you were expecting, received some savings, and while not perfect, thus far seems like this property is meeting your needs.
