Honored my request, as they always do when available, for a king size bed. The king rooms are the same size as the 2 full rooms, but much more spacious with the king bed.

Charleston Best Western downtown is a former Super 8 high rise. Was a crap-hole as a Super 8, but Best Western has redone the rooms with a black/grey/artsy motif, all the rooms have nice funiture, comfy beds, an armchair, desk and chair, 32" LCD on top of an armoire that has a fridge built-in.

Small bathrooms, but they've upgraded the shampoo to Pantene, which is better than what they used to have.

One of the best hot breakfasts for an upscale budget hotel you will find. Bisquits/gravy, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit and the usual trimmings. Business center with 2 computers/printers, free internet,
