JF1980
If you go into pricelines section where you can buy a hotel room at a set price and you see three 4* hotels for example in a make believe city in a specific zone, does this mean that there are only three 4* hotels that can possibly come up when you go back to the bidding screens in that zone? No, in my experience that is not the case. Sometimes the hotels will overlap but it seems that there are hotels in each section that are not available in the other.Does anyone else find this not to be the case? Link to comment

NOas a rule don't use the set price hotels as a guide for bidding!if you look at them to see the lowest available price and compared them to the lists of hotels that have come up before it can help you guess a bid, but it's no gurantee as to what hotel you'll receive when you bid for one in that respective area Link to comment
thereuare
It's a TRIFECTA.I agree... the non-opaque bookings should not be used as an inventory pool of potential hotels. This was 'proven' in this PRICELINE HAWAII thread. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
