Tried $45 for a downtown 4 star hotel. No luck. Any ideas as to how much I should get a room for?

My guess is that you're looking at $50-60. If your $45 bid was denied, I'd suggest trying $48, then if that's not accepted $51, $54, $57, $60.

Placed a $45 bid today for 3 star. It was accepted for the Hilton downtown.
