OK I've read my messages and clicked the link and done the search again. On the mobile version of the site, the search now comes up with the hotel referred to above at $34 per night. However the full version of the site shows the same hotel as $41 per night!

Not sure if this is a common "feature", but it might be worth trying your search on the mobile version of the site after clicking through to hotwire via the links on this site on your mobile device.

Anyway I really want to stay at the Good Nite Inn. Can anyone tell me what are the chances that the hotel listed at $34 and $41 is something other than the Good Nite?

The Good Nite in has never been reported to the board, and while this could be this property, that wouldn't be my first guess... i think the Days Inn on Hollister or the Super 8 on Palm Ave would be more likely outcomes.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.
