sbgerg Posted October 6, 2011 Author Report Posted October 6, 2011 Thanks thereuare... I read my emails and checked out the links.I am going to the San Diego area the weekend of the 14th to play golf at torrey pines. Before, I knew that this forum existed, I booked a room at the Del Mar Hilton through priceline for $85 a night. With tax and travel insurance it came to $210 for the two nights. The total for the 3.5* Mira Mesa hotel is $188 for two nights. Depending on the location (might be closer to the golf course) and the quality of the respective hotels, it might be worth it for me to eat the $10 travel insurance fee and cancel my reservation through priceline in favor of the hotwire deal. Unfortunately, the Mira Mesa hotel is not identified on the hotwire hotel list in this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
