Hotwire Hotel: 3* Charlotte (Airport CLT) Holiday Inn

Could someone please help identify a 3* Charlotte Airport Hotel with just a Business Center as its amenity?

A search for a 10/7/11-10/8/11 stay in the area listed this hotel at $51.00.

My guess is that this is the Sheraton Airport 'hiding' a few of its amenities, but if you're interested in this property i think there is a better way to play it...

Change your search to 4adults/0children and a 'new' hotel appears for the same price (may differ by a few dollars) with:

Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry

The Sheraton has previously been seen with this amenity combination and that would be my best guess. I believe this is the same hotel you're being offered with fewer amenities on your 2adult/0children search, but can't be certain, so if you're interested in trying to target this property a 4adult/0children would be a 'safer' way to purchase.

Thank you, that is a very helpful tip! I never realized that a Hotwire would "hide" that many of the hotel's amenities.

That begs the question of what the listed 4* hotel would be that has all the amenities of the Sheraton? I realize that Hotwire promotes or demotes a hotel's star rating from time to time, but do they ever have the same hotel listed twice within the same search with different ratings?

Great question, and one I've also wondered about.

Other then rare instances where a hotel may have two different wings or room classes which are rated differently, a hotel will only have one star rating assigned to it at any given time. Furthermore, since HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, the same hotel will never appear more than once in the listed offers.

Hope that answers your question, although i'll add that i'm not sure what the 4* hotel in the Airport zone is.
