plonus
Just wondering if any of the 4-star hotels in the Seattle Downtown/Pike Place zone charge mandatory fees above the Hotwire price. Also, do they generally charge extra for internet access and/or use of the fitness facilities? And how much do they charge for parking? Link to comment
hohogap
I have stayed at the Hilton Homewood Suites on Pike Street. Parking was $25/day. I was allowed to use the fitness room without charge, but the wireless internet in the room was $9.99/day. Not sure what others have experienced at hotels in the area, but parking will almost surely be an additional charge to any Hotwire win. Link to comment
thereuare
Most of the 4* hotels will charge for Hi-Speed Internet access... a charge for the fitness center can be 'hit or miss', but fortunately most hotels these days do not charge. However, if these things are important to you, why not search HOTWIRE to see what is offered for your dates, try to determine which hotel(s) may be offered for your date(s), and then research further to see what charges there are for the amenities you intend to use (even if there is a charge it can still be worthwhile if the deal you're getting thru HOTWIRE is a deep enough discount)What are the date(s) of your stay and what is your desired budget? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! (please click this HOTWIRE link before replying)Thanks.PS- please follow-up your previous Priceline San Francisco thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay (even if you didn't use PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, canceled the trip, booked direct, etc) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
plonus
Thanks for the info. I'm looking for a room for 3 for 9/22-9/24. I'm currently seeing $112/nt for a 4* Pike Place hotel (down from $136 last night). The amenities list makes me think this is one of Westin / Sheraton / Renaissance. The first two (haven't checked Ren. yet) charge $40+/day for parking, $10+ for in-room internet; and free fitness center. I can live with those fees; I just want to be sure I'm not going to be hit with any mandatory "resort" or other surprise fees after committing. Anyone know for sure if any of those 3 properties charge mandatory fees? Also, anyone know if there are less expensive parking options reasonably close to these properties? Link to comment

plonus
Just wondering if anyone here knows of an all-day in/out parking option near the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers (Seattle / Pike Place) that would be more economical than parking at the hotel, which is $35/day (~$40 with tax). An overnight option might work as well. Link to comment
