MikeInMass
I need two nights' stay in Manhattan June 10th and June 11th.Anywhere is fine, but south of Central Park would be nice. The most important criteria are a clean room and bathroom, and easy access to the subway.I am traveling light and don't mind booking two separate reservations.I can spend about $140 a night plus tax. What can I expect to find, and where should I look? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
The deal that was discussed in the other thread appears to no longer be available, and as i was about to tell the other user before that needle in a haystack appeared... i don't think you'll be successful with your given bidding limit.Would you be willing to stay in Jersey City where you could take the PATH train into Manhattan and then catch a subway? I'm assuming from your topic title that you'll ultimately be heading to Brooklyn... the PATH train can have you into downtown Manhattan in 8 minutes where you could then catch a subway to Brooklyn. Is that an option for you? thereuare
Given the tight availability i think you did just fine; probably not the best way to have bid it, but the result is what counts. If you are heading to Brooklyn, the downtown location should serve your needs well. Thanks for sharing your win and enjoy your stay.
