julsteelerfan Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Hi, and thanks in advance. Always use priceline and hotwire thru here...best site out there.I have done my research and would like your opinion before I book on whether you believe this hotelis the Palazzo. Hotwire has it for $120/noc on 9/10-12, which would be an amazing deal.Las Vegas Strip-North area hotel(2.5-5.5 mi from LAS)Bed choiceResortSuiteCasinoFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business centerHigh-speed internetGolf nearbyTennis nearbySpa services95% recommendation hotwire customersAgain, thanks in advance.
mathprincess Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 wow that is a really good deal, maybe I'll change the dates of my trip. I guess not a lot of people want to gamble on Sept 11th QED Please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links when you are ready to book.

julsteelerfan Posted August 24, 2011 Author Report Posted August 24, 2011 How many stars is it?Sorry 5* :)
Steven Seagal Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Don't forget to budget in the resort fee.Great win on a fine Vegas property. The Palazzo is amazing.
julsteelerfan Posted August 24, 2011 Author Report Posted August 24, 2011 Thanks, I didn't forget that and will be using $20 sandwich or do you think I should do $50Thanks
Steven Seagal Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Its really up to you, it all depends on how you feel about your specific check-in agent. $20 has worked plenty of times at the Palazzo but $50 never hurts.
hohogap Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Great deal! Thanks for adding all of the ammenities. It helped me determine that my bid on a 5* North Strip property in October for the same amount was NOT the Palazzo.
Steven Seagal Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 Palazzo doesn't always include the bed choice option.
thereuare Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see you received the hotel yo suspected and are pleased with the results. The standard rooms here are quite nice, so unless you're looking for something in particular, i wouldn't necessary push the $20 trick (but if you do i think $20 is enough)Thank you for sharing your results and using the HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay.PS- please follow-up your previous Priceline Disneyland thread with whatever you ended up doing for that stay. Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
julsteelerfan Posted September 13, 2011 Author Report Posted September 13, 2011 Hi, just wanted to let you know how the $20 tip worked at my stay at the Palazzo hotel over the weekend.I reserved 3 rooms thru hotwire for a Saturday/Sunday night. We were arrived at 10:30 in the morning so weCould get pool time and with the Saturday check in I didn't know if the $20 trick would work, but was definitely going to Give it a try. Since I had 3 rooms, I used a $50 and asked very nicely for an early check in and any possible upgrades. She was very Nice and the $50 disappeared quietly and quickly. She said, just trust me.. We received 3 strip views with a direct view of the TI show. I did ask for the Prestige level and got turned down on that. But for $17 a couple it was worth it. Hope this helps. :) :) Topic closed
