As a FYI: Upon finding out our hotel, I went to TripAdvisor to get more details. In addition to the price paid at Hotwire, the hotel charges $15 per day for Internet (mandatory) and another $30 per day for parking (also, it appears, mandatory - whether you have a car or not).

It appears you might be able to "Name your own price" at Priceline for less than the 139 I paid.

I'm definitely doubtful that the parking and internet charges are mandatory if you don't plan on using either.

PRICELINE is generally less expensive than PRICELINE, but is more opaque - if you bid for a 4* in a particular area (for example), you have to be willing to accept any possible 4* in the area.
