Are you interested in any of the following?

1) Try for 2.5* in the zones you've bid.

2) Try for 3* in Civic Center North and/or South.

3) Split your bid, maybe eliminating the Saturday night checkin. If you win something for 9/11-9/14 then try Add a Night for Saturday 9/10. If Add a Night doesn't work you may have to pay full rate to get the same hotel Saturday, or stay someplace else that one night. With more than a month to go you can keep trying for all four nights awhile; then split closer to your dates if you're not having success.

HOTWIRE has a 3* Civic Center South for $186 and 3* Civic Center North for $142, so you might win those zones for slightly less on PRICELINE.
