xyzzy.bid Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Based on some of the posts here started at $60 with a 3* for the Harrisburg-West Zone for 8/6/11 - 8/7/11. Won the Park Inn. I'll report back on the Hotel. Many of the Hotels in this area seem pretty high maybe do to the area being close to Hersey etc. This Hotel was ranked #4 on Trip Adviser.

xyzzy.bid Posted September 9, 2011 Author Report Posted September 9, 2011 Does anyone have an current info on what the 3 and half star hotels are in Williamsburg. The newest Hotel in Williamsburg is the Hampton on Bypass road but its only 3 * I am pretty sure. Looking for this weekend Sept 10th and 11th. Its a little off peak season so I expect prices to be dropping a little. Thanks
Romelle Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 There are two resources for your question. Neither one is perfect, but sometimes they can help. The first is the list of hotels people have reported here. It is the first post in this Priceline-Virginia area. Unfortunately, there have been no 3.5*s reported. The second is the retail side of PRICELINE. The only 3.5* on it is an Embassy Suites. However, the sets of property on the bidding side and the retail side are not necessarily the same. So something else entirely different could show up when you bid. You could move on and look at places like Kayak, Expedia, etc. But then there might be differences in the ratings, so something there as a 4* or 3* might show up in Priceline as a 3.5*.The Hamptons (there were 6 of them) show up on the retail side of PRICELINE as either 2*s or 2.5*s. The star rating between the two sides of Priceline is almost always the same. If PRICELINE shows bidding availability at a star level, there indeed is something there. Of course, they can also upgrade one to a higher star level....Romelle
