Was looking for something outside of downtown, but close to an El line for easy access to downtown. Targeted the Hilton Orrington based on reviews and thread listings here.

Please note that although the Hilton Orrington has been listed as a 3.5* in the past, apparently P/L now considers it a 3*, lumping it in with 3 other hotels in the same area. Please update your Hotel list accordingly, thanks! :)

Really nice deal for this Evanston property! Thank you for letting us know about the change in star rating for this PRICELINE property so that we can update the site's Priceline Hotel List.

Very unfortunate that this is no longer 3.5*, as it was a way to try to bid primarily for Evanston - now with the 3*'s, one can end up anywhere within this rather large zone and Evanston, with both Metra and CTA stops (both of which are right next to each other a couple of blocks from the Orrington), is much more convenient than staying in Skokie.
