buz_lite_year Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Hello,I have been to Vegas several times on business. My company owns a Timeshare resort there off the strip. I will be staying at this resort 6/13 - 6/16 on business. I am taking my wife to Vegas for her first trip and would like for her to stay on the strip the first two nights to get the real vegas action feeling. I know from reading other post the Sat and Sunday nights I need will make it difficult.Any suggestions on the best deal? Also what would be examples of 4 star. I put in $100 for 5 Star and did not get it. Looking for the great wisdom of the board.
Blueskies Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Looks like the venetian is on hotwire at 248 per night. Their website is $219. You could knock it down by double the difference(29) - $190 per night and then use a discount code/Entertainment Coupon to take it down a bit further. There are others who will help with your strategy but thought I would post this option. Good luck Check the hotel list to see the 4 star hotels but it looks like TI is coming up at $214 - easy to identify as customer favourite but South strip 4* is better value at $163 - not sure which one it is but you may be able to identify if you look at Vegas.com hotel map and the hotel list in conjunction with Hotwire offerings. The Strip has just been split into two zones so we don't have updated lists yet.
buz_lite_year Posted May 25, 2005 Author Report Posted May 25, 2005 Where do you get the discount codes or entertainment coupons to reduce the price?
Blueskies Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Go to the Support pages and look to your left bottom under general merchandise for the entertainment books (which have much more than this coupon) and you will get the codes off other posts - GIFTCARD05 and GIFTCARD06 are ones I have seen but I am sure someone else will help you on this.
