Priceline Hotel: 5* bed situation in Paris

We are traveling to London, Paris, and Brussells this fall. The majority of our time will be spent in Paris. I would like to bid on a 5* in central Paris. I snore heavily, though, and if we ended up with a room with a double bed, it could cause problems. I was wondering what size beds have people received with 5* bids in central Paris? I know that they only guarantee a room that will hold 2 people, but I'm hopeful at that star level the beds may be bigger, or the hotel would be more apt to accomodate a request for such. I was curious what your opinion is and what other people's experience has been.

Thanks.

I looked at the list of hotels reported by other bidders (first post in this Priceline - Other Countries area). Interestingly enough, there has been only one Paris 5* reported - the 5* Marriott Champs Elysees - clear back in 2009. And no review of the stay.

I looked on Priceline's retail side, and there are only nine 5* offerings in all of Paris. I looked at the detail for three of them, and it looked like the only offering was a King bed. I'm just a member, not a moderator, but - IMHO - maybe two 4* rooms might work better?
