mfleming Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 There are some promo rates..$159 for Bellegio $109 for Mand. Bay but if I try Priceline or Hotwire what and were do you think I can get? I have read that the Venitian can go for $99??? This is for our 25th and we can only get away for the one nite!!!
Blueskies Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Have you tried Travel Zoo as they were offering the Venetian for $100? Got to book by May 24th I think. Travel Worm has a deal but it is more expensive but includes extras which may be of interest. Remember to use the Support Betterbidding link if you go down Travel worm route. Don't think Travel Zoo are an affiliate but perhaps Thereuare can confirm.
thenewbie Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 May 30th still has their special rate, so it looks like you should have success on Priceline at $99.Be sure to use the link for Priceline at savingsbarn.com.
mfleming Posted May 19, 2005 Author Report Posted May 19, 2005 Thanks. Between Bellegio or Venetian which would you choose??? But its sounds like a really good deal $100 for the Venetian!!! Is the pool still under constuction....thats the only drawback I saw on tripadvisor.
thereuare Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 While we would love for you to use priceline in the way that the thenewbie suggested, i think this would be about $5 cheaper using the Travelzoo offer of $100 since priceline's fees would amount to more than $1.Of course if you desire you can see if there is anything available at thru Priceline at $95 or less (which is possible considering the Tzoo promotion). If you need help in trying letting us know. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
mfleming Posted May 19, 2005 Author Report Posted May 19, 2005 I just called the Venetian. If you ask for the special it can be booked directly with them without the addition fees. I have heard the rooms are large and very nice. Thank you all for the info. I will save the extra $59 that the Bellegio would have been and put it towards a nice anniversary dinner.....I can't believe its our 25th...I don't feel THAT old!!!
mfleming Posted May 20, 2005 Author Report Posted May 20, 2005 I tried Priceline for $85 and they came back with an offer for $110, about 129 with taxes and fees.I booked it with the Venetian directly for the $100 rate and with taxes the total is 109.00.
