Thought this was a great deal until I looked on their website and you can get a room for $US165. Oh well!

I thought it might have been the Clift or Pan Pacific as this fantastic website as yet doesn't have a list of Nob Hill accomodations but happy with this.

I'm travelling from Australia with my Mother and we are really excited about staying in an area with all the beautiful old SF houses.

This hotel had actually been identified, but not confirmed, before your purchase. Look in the second post of the HOTWIRE HOTEL LIST and you will see this property listed under San Francisco (it now has a line thru it since you 'confirmed' it for us and we have since moved it to the top post in the thread).

If there is a HOTWIRE hotel you are considering purchasing that you don't think has been identified, let us know... it may be there and/or we still may be able to figure it out.

Just to clarification sake, the Pan Pacific & Clift are located in Hotwire's Union Square West zone, not the Nob Hill zone.

I don't know how the hotel treats Hotwire customers, but it was a very nice hotel, particularly if you get one of the rooms on the higher floors. (I stayed in the 15th floor there, and the view was amazing.)

Be prepared, though, for a whole lot of uphill walking (unless, of course, you take the cable cars). Enjoy your stay!
