By the way, the beach is not walking distance. You have to drive to the gated Hilton Sandestin which is a mile or so away and park at Finz Restaurant.

Also, no free breakfast and coffee is only available in the morning. How cheap is that :)

I finally ended up finishing my vacation at Embassy Suites at Miramar Beach where all you had to do is cross the street to the beach. Lots of algae in the water. Also, watch out for schools of stingrays 4 feet from the beach. That was a little scary :)

Nice price for this Courtyard property, although sorry to hear that the location wasn't optimal. If the Embassy stay was via HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, it would be greatly appreciated if you could post it as a separate thread.

That's exactly why I dislike staying at that side of the street....you can't walk to the beach and need the car to drive over.
