Priceline Hotel: What is the price range for June 4-5th San Diego Coastal?

I'm looking for 4* hotel for June 4-5th in the coast area of san diego. Any price suggestion. Someone bidded $60 for 4* and got it. But June appeared to be more expensive.

Rates are date sensitive, so you may not get the same price another bidder got for other dates, even if their dates were near yours. The $60 win you referenced was for a Tuesday night and you're bidding for a Saturday night, which is usually higher demand and costs more.

Is this a one night stay, 6/4 only, or a two night stay 6/4 and 6/5?

thanks for the info but 5/14/11-5/15/11 were saturday and sunday. apparently may and june in san diego are not expensive b/c of the weather.

My apologies, betterbids. I incorrectly read the linked thread to say June 14, which is a Tuesday, rather than May 14, which was a Saturday night.

The general principle still holds true though--rates are date sensitive--and while June is generally busier than May in San Diego there may be individual dates in June that are slow and individual dates in May that are busy.

That's why I asked if you were staying one night (6/4) or two nights (6/4 and 6/5). Sundays are sometimes much less expensive than Saturdays and the suggested bid strategy could be different for one night and two night stays. Please clarify your travel dates and someone will look into it.
