pratim Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Hi guys, this is my first post here and I must say this is an amazingly helpful forum and yes I will only visit Hotwire from the link(s) here.Okay, can someone help id this hotel? Looks tempting!4-star hotel in Fisherman's Wharf$103/night on 1st June, 1 nightThis hotel features the following amenities:Fitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (self-service)High-Speed Internet AccessThanks!
Colfax Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Welcome to the board, pratim.Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf has been reported with those icons but at 3.5* level. My best guess is this is the Hyatt now upgraded to 4*. The listing's 4/5 TripAdvisor rating also matches Hyatt, but doesn't match the other two 4* that have been reported---Argonaut and Sheraton. If you purchase please use this HOTWIRE link and let us know what you get, or ask if you have other questions.
pratim Posted May 26, 2011 Author Report Posted May 26, 2011 Thanks Colfax... but why don't the Trip Advisor ratings show on my comp?
thereuare Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 The TA ratings are not shown for every hotel, and even for the same hotel, they may appear on some searches and not for others. To see if the TA rating is showing for a given property on your own search:1) do a search using this HOTWIRE link2) click the CONTINUE button next to the offer you're interested in3) scroll down the page and under the map may be reviews from previous HOTWIRE customers (again, these may or may not be shown) and under that is the Tripadvisor info, if shown. Occasionally the TA info will be shown above the map, but this is a much less common location then below the mapPlease use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
pratim Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 I didn't take the 4* FW Hotel but rather bidded on Priceline and got Courtyard Marriott FW for around $200 for 2 nights (incl taxes)... It's a great room! :)Thanks betterbidding for all the tips!! I am going through your links...
Colfax Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Glad to hear it worked out so well, pratim. I stayed at the Courtyard FW a couple weeks ago and I enjoyed it too. What are your dates of stay? (In your first post you were just looking for one night but now you're saying two.) And how much was your winning bid, pre-tax?Thanks for using the board's PRICELINE link.
