Hello,

I would like to book the hotel that's not too expensive, 2.5* - 3*, near Cable Car and BART on 19th-22nd of August. However, This is the first time for me to bid on PRICELINE. Can anyone please suggest me ,what should i do to get the best price?

Being near cable car and BART can be a challenge. USE, USW and Embarcadero certainly fit the bill. In Civic Center North, you can be near California cable car, which can get you to BART. Fishermans Wharf has F Market and Cable Cars that can get you to BART, too. Does that help?

SF has lots of rebid zones, so if there is a deal to be had, you have a good chance of finding it.

You can ask here for bidding strategy once you've figured some things out. But there's no need to ask for help until you've done your part. Sorry to seem curt, but it's your trip, you have to do some of the work on finding a deal.

You don't need to call the hotel. Just print out your Priceline receipt and bring it with when you check in.
