Hotwire Hotel: 2* Downtown Las Vegas $9 08/08/2011-08/09/2011

Hi all,

Clicked on your link to get to HOTWIRE. I am showing a $9 room in Downtown Las Vegas for the night of August 8, 2011 to August 9, 2011.

It is a 2* showing casino and restaurant, with a 2.5 star rating on tripadvisor.

According to the list, this is either the Golden Gate or the El Cortez, but both of those properties have 3.5 star tripadvisor ratings.

The only hotel downtown on tripadvisor at 2.5 tripadvisor rating is the Plaza, which is currently closed, and is not scheduled to reopen until September.

Any ideas? This is a great deal for $16 with taxes and fees, and no resort fees.

This property has not yet been reported to the board, but i'm going to cast my vote for the Vegas Club and that would be my best guess for this one.

Did not want to roll the dice and end up with the vegas club, so got a last minute deal for a room at the tropicana for $55.
