Priceline Hotel: Help with L'ermitage

I'm starting to think that L'ermitage Beverly Hills wins on Priceline are just a myth. I bid up to $240 a night for 8/14-8/17 with no success.

Any idea how high I may have to go? And how many wins for this particular property have been reported?

PRICELINE started offering 5* bidding in Bev Hills-WeHo about a year ago, and since then L'ermitage has only been reported as a Priceline win ONCE in this priceline hotel thread. No other 5* have been reported either.

Have you checked HOTWIRE? L'ermitage's been reported as a 4.5* on Hotwire a couple times.

Yes I have a check these dates on Hotwire but the only available hotel is Sofitel.

I ended up going to Las Vegas for this trip instead. Funny thing is even with airfare, Vegas is cheaper than staying here in Los Angeles.....and the rooms are nicer too!!
