How did you find out about the breakfast being included? I wouldn't assume that's the case - I've never heard of that for a Sofitel.

My father in law who booked the hotel, stated it is part of the deal, when he contacted the hotel. Perhaps it is a mistake but will not know until after the trip obviously.

If it is included, that's great, but I'd suggest getting it in writing, as breakfast typically costs about 23 Euros per person per day at various Sofitels in Paris.

Let us know how you make out with the breakfast as their website shows an additional charge of 25 Euros per person.
