Hotwire Hotel: 3* San Francisco (USW-Nob Hill) Chancellor Hotel

I've narrowed this hotel down to either the Chancellor or Hotel Fusion and I do not want to claim it unless I'm pretty sure it's the Chancellor. Can you narrow it down any further based on the 90% Reviews. Interestingly, yesterday they had a similar 3* USW with same amenities but only 75% recommendations.

Chancellor and Fusion have both been reported with those icons. No TripAdvisor stats are given that might help distinguish between the two. In addition this could be a new icon set for any number of 3* hotels in USW that have a restaurant, including Hotel California, Hotel Diva, and the Maxwell.

I lean towards Chancellor because of the 90% positive reviews, but I've seen situations where a hotel had a very good review percent on Hotwire but after purchase it turned out to be something with a much lower approval rating on TripAdvisor, so I'm not highly confident in the ID.

If you don't want to commit to five nights you could buy one night to see what you get, then if you like the outcome buy the other four nights.

Hotwire has introduced an "Add A Night" feature recently, similar to Priceline's. You could purchase the first three nights on Hotwire, then if you like what you get Add two more nights. (The two more nights might or might not be available.)

Also for $10 more Hotwire has a 3.5* in USE (for $109) that looks like Adagio or Serrano.

I had posted earlier about trying to ID a 3* USW and thought I had narrowed it to Chancellor or Fusion. Once I realized that the trip advisor rating was 4.6/5, I knew it was the Chancellor, which is what we wanted. We got it for $99/night and are really excited for our honeymoon. Thanks betterbidding!

Glad you got the hotel you wanted. When I stayed at the Chancellor I enjoyed breakfast at Luque's Restaurant in the lobby. For a hotel restaurant near Union Square the prices are pretty good; so are the food and service. Have fun!
