Vibh Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Hi All,Dint knew about this forum before, though used to bid since while back. it was really helpful. My travel plan is 5/7 - 5/13 and had strict instruction from wife 5* n no less(North or South strip). I dint wanted to spend more then $600 for 6 night n it seemed difficult for 5* considering the Saturday night check in (highest rated night). Went upto to $90 starting from 65 n was all rejected. Convinced wife that anyway we are reaching saturday late night so for just sleeping atleast consider 4*, which she did :). So finally got Vdara for 5 nights from 5/8 to 5/13 @ $87 without taxes and then for Friday 5/7 got Renaissance (would have loved if something near like monte carlo) @ $68 so total for Hotel would be $590 :). I know its little pain checkin n checkin out but saved a little. Called vdara n they said i can keep my luagage in the morning and check in @ 11. BTW first trip to vegas, let me know if possible how much pain it is from Renaissance to Vdara would take a cab. Also Moderator, for Renaissance if you want me to post separate post let me know.5* Vdara 5/8 to 5/13@ $87Total $502Let me know how did i do,first trip Vdara seems good reviewed, new property and good location ,Pros n cons???Thanks
AaronJB Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Very nice deal for this newer Vegas property. It would be greatly appreciated if you could post the Renaissance win separately.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
cbob8 Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 I think your deal at Vdara is vdery good! Nice job. It's a very nice place and I'm sure you and your wife will love it. One of the possible downsides is that Vdara doesn't have a casino (might not be a downside for YOU), although you're a quick walk to Aria, Planet Hollywood, Monte Carlo, etc.Renaissance is definitely far enough from Vdara that you'd probably want to take a cab with your luggage. Should only run about $15.
